Advocate Health seeks a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures with a high level of proficiency, operating scanners and related equipment while ensuring patient safety. You will verify orders with Radiologists, prepare patients, document procedures, and maintain image quality.

Required credentials include ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT registry within one year of hire, plus BLS. Flexibility to rotate shifts is expected.

Aufgaben

• Verify orders with Radiologist and address discrepancies.
• Identify patients and explain procedures; prep and assist during exams.
• Perform CT scanning and ensure image quality per protocol.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast per departmental guidelines.
• Follow radiation safety and infection control procedures.
• Rotate shifts and assist in crisis or emergency situations.
