UofL Health is hiring a CT Technologist for the JHHS - Med Center SW site in Louisville, KY. The role supports CT imaging with emphasis on accuracy, patient safety, and adherence to hospital policy.

The CT Technologist will train students, participate in quality programs, and ensure proper documentation of procedures. Key responsibilities include performing CT scans, venipuncture for contrast, and maintaining equipment proficiency.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRC approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered with ARRT.
• KY Radiation Operators certification.
• BLS required; CT Certification preferred within 1 year of hire.
• Prefer at least 1 year of CT experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform CT scans according to established protocols with accuracy.
• Assess patient and develop action plan for the procedure.
• Provide pre- and post-exam patient education related to the exam.
• Produce CT scans with technical accuracy and diagnostic quality.
• Demonstrate radiation safety practices during examinations.
• Perform venipuncture and contrast injections per guidelines.
• Ensure exams are logged in the computer system.
• Instruct Radiologic Technology students in CT positioning and technique.
• Attend department meetings and in-services; assist training of new staff.
• Maintain credentials and keep on-file copies; keep areas clean and orderly.
