Qualifications

  • Registered with ARRT; KY Radiation Operators certification.
  • BLS certification; CT Certification preferred at hire but required within 1 year.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans according to established protocols.
  • Position patients and adjust techniques to optimize images.
  • Maintain radiation safety practices and protect patients.
  • Assist radiologist with complex CT examinations and contrast administration.
  • Instruct students in CT scan positioning and technique.
  • Maintain accuracy of patient data and exam logging.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and training.
  • Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized.
