Job summary

Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, IL is seeking a CT technologist for a PRN, part-time role. The ideal candidate will perform CT scans with accurate positioning, manage contrast injections, and operate CT equipment within established safety and QA protocols.

Responsibilities include ensuring patient comfort, documenting charges, and supporting radiology workflow through RIS/HIS systems. ARRT CT certification and AMA-approved training are required; CP R certification is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved school of radiology technology with ARRT CT certification.
• CT scanning proficiency with procedural knowledge and anatomy
• Experience with PACS/RIS systems and quality control requirements.

Responsibilities

• Produce CT scans with proper positioning and technical factors.
• Ensure patient comfort and informed consent for procedures.
• Maintain CT suite cleanliness and safety protocols; complete required CQI activities.
