Job summary

Alpha Home Health and Hospice seeks a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT imaging to perform diagnostic and interventional CT procedures under radiologist supervision. You will plan and execute CT protocols, monitor dose levels, operate scanners and injectors, and ensure patient safety across multiple locations.

Candidate will prepare and position patients, select appropriate protocols based on anatomy and history, and perform advanced CT studies such as CTA and EVAR while maintaining

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (Required).
• Technical expertise in operating CT scanners and related equipment.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and physics related to CT imaging.
• Ability to interpret and adjust technical parameters for optimal imaging.
• Strong patient care skills, including patient preparation and safety procedures.
• Familiarity with dose monitoring systems and clinical protocols.
• Competence in performing interventional and advanced CT procedures.

Role Overview

Performs CT procedures to acquire digital images for diagnostic and treatment purposes under the supervision of a Radiologist.
Plans and executes all CT protocols, ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines and optimizing patient safety by monitoring dose levels.
Operates CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems across multiple locations, maintaining proficiency with various systems.
Maintains comprehensive knowledge of clinical histories, anatomy, and physiology to select appropriate protocols for different organ systems.
Prepares and positions patients correctly, using protective shielding and immobilization techniques, and ensures proper technical settings.
Performs advanced imaging procedures such as CTA, interventional procedures, and specialized studies like TAVR, EVAR, and cardiac imaging.
Ensures patient safety and comfort, adheres to Image Gently guidelines, and manages pharmacology considerations related to imaging.
Interprets technical factors to enhance image quality and efficiency, maintaining safety standards and quality control.
