Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic, therapeutic, and research imaging using ionizing radiation. You will independently conduct CT and molecular imaging, ensuring accurate data acquisition for diagnosis and treatment.

The role emphasizes safety, quality care, and collaboration with staff across care settings, with opportunities to educate and support learners and providers in CT imaging.

Qualifications

• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB with ARRT-CT is required.
• Graduation from a radiologic technology program; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Candidates should have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles for patient safety and care quality.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed, evaluate image quality, and verify data storage and transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, assist with interventional procedures, and perform prescribed CT scans.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and demonstrate proficiency in routine and complex duties.
• Adhere to organizational policies and contribute to a safe, collaborative environment.
