Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency in the United States is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, assist licensed practitioners with interventional and therapeutic procedures, and contribute to research imaging efforts with attention to patient safety and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB required on hire.
• New graduates must obtain certification before starting.
• Completion of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Role Summary:

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists perform diagnostic, therapeutic, and research imaging procedures using ionizing radiation. They acquire and analyze data for diagnosis and assist licensed practitioners with interventional and therapeutic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history while ensuring confidentiality.
• Use appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to ensure patient safety.
• Prepare and/or administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate images for quality, proper positioning, and verify data storage or transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
• Assist with and perform computed tomography procedures as directed by licensed practitioners.

Qualifications & Skills
