They independently conduct or assist with CT and molecular imaging, ensuring accurate data acquisition for diagnosis and intervention at the request of licensed practitioners.

They independently conduct or assist with CT and molecular imaging, ensuring accurate data acquisition for diagnosis and intervention at the request of licensed practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain correct patient identification, prepare patients, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize proper imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to ensure patient safety and quality imaging.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed, and evaluate images for proper positioning and quality.
• Verify data transfer and post-process images as needed.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, and assist with interventional procedures.

Work is performed in a clinical setting, with accountability for compliance with policies and procedures. Additional department-specific skills and competencies are essential for successful job performance.

Qualifications:
