Job Description

CT Technologists are responsible for:

1. Explaining radiographic procedures to patients and collecting accurate patient history.
2. Performing clinical diagnostic examinations, including room preparation.
3. Entering patient and exam data into the Radiology Information System correctly.

Qualifications

Under the direction of the Radiologist, the CT Technologist operates CT equipment to produce diagnostic images. Qualifications include:

1. 1-3 months of experience and/or training.
2. Satisfactory formal training in an approved program.
3. ARRT certification required.
