Job Description

CT Technologists are responsible for the following:

  1. Explaining radiographic procedures to patients and collecting accurate patient histories.
  2. Performing clinical diagnostic examinations, including necessary room preparation.
  3. Entering patient and exam data accurately into the Radiology Information System.

Under the direction of the Radiologist, the CT Technologist operates CT equipment to produce images for diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Qualifications for this position include:

  1. 1-3 months of experience and/or training required.
  2. Satisfactory formal training from an approved program.
  3. ARRT certification required.
