Job summary

Baptist Health in St. Augustine, FL is seeking a CT Technologist for the CT Scan Department at Baptist ED Silverleaf on a 12-week Peak Staffing (Internal Traveler) program.

This part-time role offers 24 hours per week with rotating shifts 6:30am-7:00pm and rotating call plus holidays. The CT Technologist will perform high-quality CT procedures, prepare and position patients, monitor vitals, operate equipment, and work with radiologists to ensure optimal imaging.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist with ARRT CT credential.
• Experience in hospital imaging and radiology workflows.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following established protocols.
• Position patients and manage imaging parameters.
• Monitor vitals and patient comfort during exams.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure maintenance.
• Collaborate with radiologists for optimal results.
• Maintain accurate procedure records and documentation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and safety protocols.
• Educate patients about the CT process and address questions.
