Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at Baptist ED Silverleaf in St. Augustine, Florida. This is a PRN, varied shifts position with on-call and holiday rotation.

Chosen as the area's leading provider, we emphasize high-quality imaging and patient safety. As a CT Technologist, you will operate and calibrate GE equipment, prepare patients for procedures, administer IV contrast, position patients, provide explanations, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Certification in Computed Tomography from ARDMS or ARRT (CT) within 18 months of hire.
• Experience in one other imaging modality is preferred.
• Licensed Medical Imaging Technologist (ARRT) and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per established protocols and guidelines.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer questions.
