Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join the CT Scan Department at Baptist ED Silverleaf for its Peak Staffing program, located in St. Augustine, FL.

This 12-week internal traveler contract offers premium pay and can be renewed for up to two additional contracts. The role is a full-time opportunity working 36 hours per week with flexible scheduling; participation in on-call and holiday rotation is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality CT procedures in accordance with protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer questions.

Job description

Baptist Health is looking to add a CT Technologist to our CT Scan Department at Baptist ED Silverleaf for our Peak Staffing (Internal Traveler) Program located in St. Augustine, FL. This position is part of our internal traveler program which is a 12-week contract with premium pay. This position is eligible to renew their contract after 12 weeks for up to two contracts in total. This is a Full-Time opportunity working 36 hours per week with flexible scheduling. Participation in the on-call and holiday rotation is required.

This CT Technologist's primary responsibilities are to ensure physicians and other members of a patient’s care team receive high-quality images they can use to make diagnoses or assess the success of treatments.

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results

• Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions

Experience Requirements

• Less than 1 year of Radiology Technologist Experience Preferred

Education & Credential Requirements

• Vocational School
• Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required Or
• Registered Technologist in Computer Tomography ARRT (CT) Required Or
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required Or
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
