Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a CT Technologist I with potential for advancement to higher levels. This role performs computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures, acquiring data for diagnosis and assisting licensed practitioners with interventional procedures.

You will ensure patient identification and safety according to ALARA principles, document exposures, and support students and healthcare providers in a primarily clinical environment while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB on hire; grads must obtain certification.
• Ability to perform imaging procedures, evaluate images, and operate imaging equipment.
• Knowledge of radiation safety, patient care, and documentation.
• Graduate from a radiologic technology program; bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and molecular imaging procedures and analyze data for diagnosis or therapy.
• Assist licensed practitioners with interventional procedures.
• Ensure proper patient identification, preparation, and ALARA safety.
• Prepare, administer, and document medications and radiation exposure per laws.
• Evaluate image quality and verify data transfer; educate or monitor students and providers.
• Obtain orders, ensure patient safety and confidentiality; optimize imaging protocols.
