Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT and molecular imaging procedures, adhering to ALARA principles and patient safety. The role includes preparing, evaluating, and analyzing images, and assisting licensed practitioners with interventional procedures.

Responsibilities include documenting history, using imaging protocols, administering medications via vascular access, and educating students and staff.

Competenze

• ARRT or NMTCB certification required on hire; new grads must obtain before starting.
• Graduate of radiologic technology program; bachelor's degree preferred.

Role Overview:

The CT Technologist I performs computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures, administering ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. They prepare, evaluate, and analyze images, ensuring patient safety and adherence to ALARA principles. The technologist assists licensed practitioners with interventional procedures, manages medications and radiation exposure documentation, and educates healthcare providers and students.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history securely.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and ensure patient safety.
• Administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate images for quality, proper positioning, and transfer data appropriately.
• Assist with interventional procedures and perform prescribed CT scans.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare team members.

Qualifications & Skills:

Certification by ARRT or NMTCB required upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification before starting. Candidates should have graduated from a radiologic technology program, with a preferred bachelor's degree. Ability to operate imaging equipment, follow safety protocols, and work collaboratively in a clinical setting is essential.
