Job summary

Rock Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT imaging following department protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

You will operate imaging equipment, obtain clinical history, explain procedures, and document results in RIS/PACS, with focus on ALARA and patient care.

The role requires ARRT CT certification, ARRT R, BLS, one year radiology experience, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Requires ARRT - R (Radiography), ARRT - CT, and BLS certifications.
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
  • One year radiology experience minimum.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality CT imaging following department protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Operate imaging equipment independently, optimizing results while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
  • Maintain and disinfect equipment and rooms, report issues, and support infection control.
  • Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and ensure patient identification before exams.
  • Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
  • Administer contrast via venipuncture, position patients, and apply shielding as needed.
  • Review images for diagnostic quality and document in RIS/PACS.

  • Maintain and disinfect equipment and rooms, report issues promptly, and support infection control.
  • Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and ensure patient identification before exams.
  • Explain procedures using AIDET, address patient questions, and reduce anxiety.
  • Administer contrast agents via venipuncture, position patients correctly, and apply shielding and immobilization as needed.
  • Review images for diagnostic quality, repeat/correct images if necessary, and document accurately in RIS/PACS.
  • Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and assist with life-support equipment.
  • Coordinate workflows, support departmental operations, and ensure compliance with regulations.
