Job summary

Live Well Homecare in the United States is seeking a CT Technician I to perform computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures to aid diagnosis and treatment.

Advancement to CT Tech II is possible based on skills and experience. The role requires ARRT or NMTCB certification at hire, with steps toward advanced certification within 24 months for those hired after a set date. You will work within a radiology team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB certification required at hire; new graduates must obtain certification before starting.
• For hires after a specified date, must complete steps for advanced certification within 24 months.
• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology training program.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient information and prepare patients for exams while maintaining confidentiality.
• Use imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and prioritize patient safety following ALARA principles.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed, documenting activities in compliance with laws and policies.
• Evaluate images for quality, proper positioning, and verify data storage and transfer. Post-process data as needed.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers; assist licensed practitioners with interventional procedures.
• Perform CT procedures as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and safety in a clinical setting.
