Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC seeks a licensed CT Technologist to perform CT procedures, apply advanced technology, and follow safety guidelines to support physicians in diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities include operating scanners and injectors, positioning patients, applying dose management and protocol standards, and performing interventional CT imaging while maintaining patient safety and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Specialty Training Program is required.
• Ability to work in a clinical setting in accordance with department policies.
• Experience with dose management and safety guidelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems to produce high-quality images.
• Maintain proficiency across multiple CT systems and locations.
• Follow protocols based on safety guidelines and dose management, including Image Gently standards.
• Utilize knowledge of clinical histories and anatomy for Thoracic, Abdominal, Pelvic, Neuro, and Musculoskeletal scans.
• Prepare and position patients, ensure proper immobilization, shielding, and technical settings.
• Perform CT interventional procedures and advanced CTA imaging, including TAVR, EVAR, and cardiac studies.
• Understand pharmacology and physiology to optimize scans and patient safety.
• Apply physics knowledge to minimize patient dose and enhance image quality.
