Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures and support physicians in disease diagnosis and treatment. The role ensures protocols align with clinical guidelines and manages dose data to alert when scan levels exceed thresholds.

Responsibilities include operating CT scanners and injectors, preparing patients with proper shielding, and performing CT interventional procedures such as CTA imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program.
• Strong understanding of physics, anatomy, and patient safety.
• Ability to perform complex procedures and interpret technical factors for optimal results.

• Maintains knowledge of multiple CT systems across different locations.
• Adheres to Image Gently Guidelines and manages dose data integration.
• Uses clinical history and knowledge of organ and vascular systems to select appropriate protocols.
• Prepares and positions patients, applying protective shielding and correct technical factors.
• Performs CT interventional procedures and advanced CTA imaging, including TAVR, EVAR, and cardiac studies.
• Maintains awareness of pharmacology and physiology to optimize scan quality and safety.
• Adjusts technical factors to improve scan quality and efficiency.
