Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and contribute to quality patient care. The role requires adherence to ALARA principles and collaboration with licensed practitioners during interventional procedures.

Ideal candidates will have ARRT or NMTCB certification with ARRT-CT, a specialty radiologic technology background, and a strong focus on safety and accuracy in CT imaging.

Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB certification with ARRT-CT
• Graduation from Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Proficiency in routine and complex CT procedures; strong radiation safety and patient care understanding

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, verify patient identity, prepare patients, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and adhere to ALARA principles to ensure patient safety and care quality.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed, and evaluate images for quality and proper positioning.
• Assist licensed practitioners with interventional procedures and support data transfer and storage.
• Educate and monitor students and other healthcare providers.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and demonstrate commitment to departmental priorities.

Role Overview

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists perform diagnostic, therapeutic, or research imaging procedures involving ionizing radiation. They independently conduct or assist with CT and molecular imaging, ensuring accurate data acquisition for diagnosis and interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities
