Job summary

Corewell Health Wayne Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform accurate diagnostic CT exams following ALARA principles. Part time, Evening shift, 20 hours weekly at SITE - Wayne.

Qualifications include JRCERT-accredited radiography program, ARRT CT registration, BLS, and 1–3 years’ radiology experience. A sign-on bonus up to $7,500 is offered for external hires and new grads.

Qualifications

• Requires JRCERT-accredited radiography program.
• 1 year to 3 years radiology experience beyond staff radiographer.
• CRT-ARRT CT registration required upon hire OR
• CRT-CT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnostic CT exams.
• Follow ALARA principles and radiation safety regulations.
• Provide patient-centered imaging services and maintain quality imaging records.

Corewell Health Wayne Hospital opened its doors to western Wayne communities in 1957. This full-service hospital is the only hospital in the Wayne, Westland, Garden City, Canton, Inkster and Romulus area verified by the American College of Surgeons as a Level III Trauma Center. The hospital has a longstanding partnership with Detroit Metropolitan Airport and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to handle a wide variety of health and communicable disease concerns including mass trauma and emergency patients.

Scope of work

As a CT Technologist with Corewell Health, you can turn detailed images into life-changing diagnoses. You'll be responsible for performing accurate diagnostic CT exams while following regulations and ALARA principles of radiation protection. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Required Associate's Degree Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
• 1 year of relevant experience 1-3 years’ experience beyond staff radiographer level. Preferred
• CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
• CRT-Computerized Tomography (CT) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Excludes team members hired prior to 2008. 1 Year required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
