Job summary

Corewell Health Wayne Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform accurate diagnostic CT exams while following ALARA radiation safety principles. The role emphasizes compliance with regulations and delivering high-quality imaging for patient diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from a JRCERT-accredited program.
• 1 year of relevant experience; 1–3 years beyond staff radiographer level.
• Preferred CRT- Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT; CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnostic CT examinations while adhering to regulations and ALARA principles.
• Be a vital part of the CT team and ensure patient care and safety during imaging.

Education

Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT-accredited Radiography program)

ARRT registration (preferred)

BLS certification (AHA or ARC)

About Corewell Health Wayne Hospital Corewell Health Wayne Hospital opened its doors to western Wayne communities in 1957. This full-service hospital is the only hospital in the Wayne, Westland, Garden City, Canton, Inkster and Romulus area verified by the American College of Surgeons as a Level III Trauma Center. The hospital has a longstanding partnership with Detroit Metropolitan Airport and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to handle a wide variety of health and communicable disease concerns including mass trauma and emergency patients.

Scope of work

As a CT Technologist with Corewell Health, you can turn detailed images into life-changing diagnoses. You'll be responsible for performing accurate diagnostic CT exams while following regulations and ALARA principles of radiation protection. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Qualifications Required

• Associate's Degree Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
• 1 year of relevant experience
• 1-3 years’ experience beyond staff radiographer level.
• Preferred CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
• Upon Hire required CRT-Computerized Tomography (CT) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Excludes team members hired prior to 2008.
• 1 Year required CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required
• Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
