Job summary

Corewell Health Taylor Hospital in Taylor, MI, is seeking a CT Technologist to accurately perform diagnostic CT exams while following ALARA principles and regulations.

The role is night shift, 7:30 p.m. – 6 a.m., with rotating weekends. A sign-on bonus of up to $7,000 is available for external hires and new grads, highlighting our commitment to welcoming new talent to the Radiology team.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree from a JRCERT-accredited radiography program.
  • 1 year of relevant experience.
  • 1–3 years’ experience beyond staff radiographer level.
  • Preferred: ARRT CRT Registration on hire.
  • Preferred: ARDMS CT certification on hire.
  • Preferred: BLS (AHA) on hire or ARC BLS on hire.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate diagnostic CT exams following ALARA principles and regulations.
  • Turn detailed images into life-changing diagnoses as part of the team.
  • Contribute to patient care and hospital workflows in Taylor Hospital’s radiology department.

Proudly serving Taylor and surrounding communities since 1977, it offers specialty services including 24-hour emergency care, wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, a surgical pavilion, a pain management clinic, orthopedic surgery, inpatient rehabilitation facility and full-service radiology, including advanced CT w/cardiac scoring, Fixed MRI including pacemaker, cinema vision and ultrasound (MSK & elastography).

Scope of work

As a CT Technologist with Corewell Health, you can turn detailed images into life-changing diagnoses. You'll be responsible for performing accurate diagnostic CT exams while following regulations and ALARA principles of radiation protection. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Qualifications Required
  • Associate's Degree Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
  • 1 year of relevant experience
  • 1-3 years’ experience beyond staff radiographer level.
Preferred
  • CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
  • CRT-Computerized Tomography (CT) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Excludes team members hired prior to 2008.
  • 1 Year required CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required
  • Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
