Job summary

Health Marketing seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care in a collaborative healthcare team.

Qualifications

  • Must have completed an accredited Radiologic Technology program and high school diploma.
  • 1 year radiology experience preferred.
  • Certification in ARRT-R and ARRT-CT, plus BLS.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT procedures according to department protocols to capture diagnostic images.
  • Operate imaging equipment independently while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Ensure cleanliness, infection control, and equipment maintenance.
  • Gather patient history, verify orders, and explain procedures to reduce anxiety using AIDET.
  • Provide patient comfort, privacy, and age-appropriate care during exams.
  • Administer contrast agents and perform venipuncture when needed.
  • Position patients, apply shielding, review images for quality, and redo exams if necessary.
  • Document procedures in RIS/PACS and manage patient flow.
  • Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and maintain life support equipment.
  • Support department operations by transporting patients and adhering to standards.

Job description

We are seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care in a collaborative healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Performing CT procedures following department protocols to capture diagnostic images.
  • Operating imaging equipment independently while maintaining safety and minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
  • Ensuring cleanliness, infection control, and equipment maintenance.
  • Gathering patient history, verifying orders, and explaining procedures to reduce anxiety using AIDET techniques.
  • Providing patient comfort, privacy, and age-appropriate care throughout exams.
  • Administering contrast agents and performing venipuncture when needed.
  • Positioning patients accurately, applying shielding, and reviewing images for quality, redoing exams if necessary.
  • Documenting procedures accurately in RIS/PACS and managing patient flow efficiently.
  • Monitoring patient condition, responding to emergencies, and maintaining life support equipment.
  • Supporting department operations by maintaining order, transporting patients safely, and adhering to regulatory standards.
Qualifications Include
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Minimum of 1 year radiology experience.
  • Certifications: ARRT - R (Radiography), ARRT - CT, and BLS from the American Heart Association.
