Job summary

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist for night shifts (6pm-6am) in Idaho Falls. The role involves assisting interventional radiologists with biopsies and various procedures, administering contrast, and operating CT equipment for exams.

A strong focus on patient safety and ALARA principles is required. Qualifications include BLS within 7 days of employment, ARRT-R Radiography, and CT (ARRT-CT) credentials.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography credential.
• CT (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography credential.

Responsibilities

• Administer both oral and IV contrast; evaluate for allergic reactions; place IV for the exam.
• Load and operate MedRad power injector.
• Operate CT scanning equipment; follow ALARA standards; follow physician protocols.
• Assist interventional radiologists with procedures.
• Maintain a clean work environment and stock the department with supplies and linens.
• Move, lift, and assist patients onto and off the scanner table.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As aCT Technologist, you will work with our friendly interventional radiologistsassistingwithvarious typesof biopsies,drain placeplacements, aspirations, injections, cry ablations, and microwave ablations. What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
