Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls is seeking a CT Technologist PRN to join our interventional radiology team. You will assist with biopsies, drain placements, aspirations, injections, cryo and microwave ablations, while upholding ALARA standards and patient safety.

The role requires ARRT certifications in Radiography and CT, BCLS within 7 days of start, and at least six months of experience.

Qualificações

• BCLS must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography
• Six (6) months experience required

Responsabilidades

• Administer both oral and IV contrast; evaluate patients for allergic reactions; place IV as needed.
• Load and operate MedRad power injector.
• Operate CT scanning equipment; follow ALARA standards; adhere to physician protocols.
• Assist interventional radiologists with procedures.
• Maintain a clean work environment and stock supplies.
• Assist patients on to and off the scanner table.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As a CT Technologist, you will work with our friendly interventional radiologists assisting with various types of biopsies, drain place placements, aspirations, injections, cry ablations, and microwave ablations. In this role:

• You will administer both oral and IV contrast; evaluate patients for any allergic reactions; place correct IV for the exam being performed.
• You will be loading and operating MedRad power injector.
• You will operate and understand CT scanning equipment; practice ALARA standards; understand physician protocols and scan appropriately.
• You will be assisting interventional radiologists with procedures.
• You will be maintaining a clean work environment and stock the department with supplies and linens.
• You will be moving, lifting, and assisting patients on to and off the scanner table.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography, or (CT) Computed Tomography
• Six (6) months experience required

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) is a full-service hospital with 318+ patient beds. Our hospital is the largest medical facility in the region.
