Job summary

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls is seeking an Imaging (Radiology) Technologist. You will perform professional radiologic procedures with independent judgment and deliver high-quality images to aid diagnosis, while upholding a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Opportunities for growth include accelerated development programs into CT and MRI, fully funded by HCA Healthcare, with paid clinical hours during regular shifts. Compensation is an hourly wage with benefits.

Qualifications

  • ARRT-R Radiography certification is required.
  • Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
  • Ability to perform radiology procedures with independent judgment in a patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide proper procedure and high-quality images to assist physician diagnosis.
  • Perform imaging procedures in radiology and portable exams across the hospital.
  • Schedule, plan, implement and complete requests for service with a compassionate environment.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As an Imaging (Radiology) Technologist, you will perform professional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, with latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative. In this role:
  • You will be responsible for providing the patient the proper procedure with excellent quality images to assist the physician in the diagnosis of the patient’s condition or health complaint.
  • You will perform a variety of imaging procedures in the radiology department as well as portable exams and c-arm procedures throughout the hospital.
  • You will be responsible to schedule, plan, implement and complete the request for service and provide friendly and compassionate environment in keeping with the “care like family” mission of the hospital.
  • You will possess knowledge of growth and development; and have an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups.
  • You will be responsible for staying up to date of current techniques and procedures.
