Job summary

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls is seeking an MRI Technologist to join the Imaging department in a PRN capacity. The role involves performing MRI examinations under physician supervision, providing compassionate patient care, and ensuring high quality image quality.

You will work with a team of professionals in a busy hospital setting, with opportunities to mentor students and collaborate with physicians.

Qualifications

• Must hold ARRT MR certification or ARMRIT/ARRT-R as applicable.
• Basic Life Support must be current or obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
• Experience in lieu of degree acceptable depending on qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations under physician supervision for patients of all ages.
• Demonstrate professional knowledge and provide high quality patient centered care.
• Operate MRI equipment safely, with independent judgment and initiative as needed.
• Collaborate with students, staff, and physicians in imaging department.

Education

Certification: ARRT MR

Certification: ARMRIT or ARRT-R

Job Summary and Qualifications

AsanMRITechnologist youwillperform anddemonstrateyourprofessional knowledge to provide care for our patients served in the Imaging department. • Under the direction of a physician, you willperformMRI(magnetic resonance imaging) examination to patients of all ages under the direction of a physician using advanced technical knowledge.
• You will be expected to perform all responsibilities withminimal supervision, and thelatitude for independent judgment,ingenuity,and initiative.
• You willbe responsible foradvanced knowledge of the complexities of MRI equipment,examinations,and working with students, staff teaching MRI technology.
• You willbe responsible forthe assessment; treatment/care for all patients, which includes ability to interpret information in terms of the patient’s needs and understanding of the range of treatment needed.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging
• Work Experience in lieu of Degree
• (ARMRIT) American Registry of MRI Technologists, or (ARRT-R) Radiography
