Job summary

Affinity Home Health Care Inc. seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience.

You will independently operate imaging equipment, perform CT procedures, and adjust techniques to balance diagnostic quality and radiation safety. Responsibilities include preparing patients, explaining procedures using AIDET, monitoring comfort and safety, administering contrast with sterile technique, and reviewing images for diagnostic acceptability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• At least 1 year radiology experience.
• Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT procedures and explain procedures using AIDET.
• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging.
• Administer contrast with sterile techniques.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and document procedures in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain imaging equipment and organize workflows to support department operations.
• Adhere to regulatory standards and radiation safety practices.

Job description

As part of a collaborative care team, you will independently operate imaging equipment, perform CT procedures in line with departmental guidelines, and adjust techniques to maintain diagnostic quality while minimizing radiation exposure.

Key responsibilities include preparing patients, explaining procedures using AIDET, ensuring patient comfort and safety, administering contrast with sterile techniques, and reviewing images for diagnostic acceptability. You will document procedures accurately in RIS/PACS, monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and support department operations by maintaining equipment, organizing workflows, and adhering to regulatory standards.

• Qualifications** include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, at least 1 year of radiology experience, and certifications such as ARRT - R, ARRT - CT, and BLS.
