Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is hiring a CT Scan Technologist to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will perform CT exams independently under Radiologist direction, gather clinical data, maintain accurate records, and support departmental operations.

The role requires MA licensure, ARRT/NMTCB certification, and a strong focus on patient safety and interdepartmental collaboration. Travel between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton may be scheduled as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiological program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or NMTCB certified in diagnostic CT.
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Properly performs all CT scan examinations appropriate to the age of the patient in inpatient and/or outpatient settings, consistent with departmental and professional standards and protocols.
• Gathers pertinent clinical data and maintains accurate patient records.
• Accurately completes all records, paperwork and billings and submits promptly.
• Positions and transfers patients appropriately and assists physicians with interventional exams.
• Promptly and properly completes exams, performs QC on images and appropriately sends exams to PACS for the physicians to review.
• Travel between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton as scheduled to provide operational, administrative, or departmental support.
