Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA seeks a CT Technologist to perform a variety of CT exams for diagnosis and patient care. Under supervision of a Radiologist, you will deliver high-quality imaging while adhering to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.

The role requires ARRT or NMTCB CT certification and MA licensure, with a patient-first approach and strong verbal and written communication skills. This full-time position offers a day shift and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiological program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or NMTCB certified in diagnostic CT.
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
• Verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scan examinations appropriate to patient age and setting.
• Gather pertinent clinical data and maintain accurate patient records.
• Complete records, paperwork and billing promptly.
• Position and transfer patients; assist physicians with interventional exams.
• Send exams to PACS for physician review; perform QC on images.
• Maintain inventory and assist with supplies procurement.
• Perform exams using contrast media under radiologist/ER physician direction.
• Establish IV access for contrast injection per policy.
• Comply with departmental policies and safety regulations.
