Job summary

UNC Health in North Carolina seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT exams and assist Radiologists. You will work nights, 1pm-1am, with rotating weekends, providing high-quality diagnostic imaging and compassionate patient care in a busy hospital setting.

The role requires graduation from an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registration or eligibility, CPR, and the ability to administer iodinated contrast.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Clinical rotation through a hospital setting during training, or completion of a certified CT program, or one year experience as a CT Technologist.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or registry eligible.
• CPR training.
• Ability to make independent decisions. Knowledge and ability of intravenous therapy to inject iodinated contrast material. Demonstrates continuous leadership ability. Encourages proper training and supervision of student technologist rotating through the CT department.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams and ensure high-quality images.
• Communicate effectively with members of the healthcare team and physicians.
• Assist Radiologist with planning exams and invasive procedures.
• Maintain a positive image of the Radiology Department and hospital.
• Support patients and families during procedures.
