Job summary

UNC Health is seeking a CT technologist to perform CT procedures, acquire diagnostic data, and support imaging services at our onsite facility in Siler City, NC. The role emphasizes weekend and night shifts and requires adherence to protocols and patient safety standards.

Responsibilities include patient identification, contrast administration, image acquisition and transfer via PACS/EPIC, and contributing to a collaborative imaging team.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science.
• Must be registered with the ARRT in Radiography or NMTCB (CT); registry eligible if applicable.
• Maintain current CPR/BLS competency.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients, verify information, and ensure patient safety.
• Perform CT scans per protocols and optimize image quality.
• Administer contrast and establish IV access following safety guidelines.
• Transfer images via PACS/EMR to ensure timely availability and accuracy of records.
• Precept and assist new staff as needed.
