UNC Health in Hillsborough, NC seeks an experienced CT Technologist to perform complex CT procedures and collaborate with Trauma, Stroke, and Cardiology teams. The role includes assisting radiologists in invasive CT-guided techniques, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging through advanced CT protocols.

Requirements include an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT CT certification, and a minimum of three years of CT experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiologic Science with an advanced registry in Computed Tomography.
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Sciences or registry eligible; advanced CT certification required.

Responsabilités

• Conducts complex CT procedures and analyzes diagnostic data.
• Assists radiologists with high-risk CT-guided procedures.
• Evaluates contraindications and coordinates care prior to imaging.
• Performs CTA perfusion and trauma CT protocols as defined by the physician.
• Adjusts CT parameters for specialized exams and educates team members.
• Monitors patient safety and contrast administration following protocols.
• Acquires and reconstructs CT images and ensures quality documentation.
• Triages and coordinates care for anesthesia-related exams.
• Obtains and analyzes images with proper window/level settings.
• Administers oral and rectal contrast per protocol.
