Job summary

UNC Health in North Carolina is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures and analyze diagnostic data. This per diem role supports weekend and night shifts and requires meticulous patient identification, contrast administration, image capture, and accurate image transfer to PACS/EMR systems.

The ideal candidate has completed an accredited Radiologic Science program and is registered with ARRT or NMTCB (CT) or is registry-eligible.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Science program.
• ARRT-registered in Radiography or NMTCB (CT) or registry eligible; must register within two years.
• Maintain current competency in HCP BLS.
• Prior education, training and experience enabling the assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Patient identification and safety verification.
• Perform CT scans and reconstruct images per protocols.
• Administer oral/IV contrast and manage IV access.
• Transfer images via PACS/EMR and ensure accurate orders/billing.
• Support workflow, document incidents, and precept trainees.
