Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology is seeking a CT Technologist to join our night-shift CT team in Northeast Ohio. You will operate CT scanners, assist with CT-guided procedures, and coordinate patient flow for inpatients and outpatients across the department.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT CT credentials, an Ohio radiographer license, and BLS certification. We offer cross-training, a generous sign-on bonus, and opportunities for professional growth within a premier trauma center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS certification or obtains within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and communicates effectively under stress.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT team.
