Job summary

MetroHealth's Radiology Department seeks a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT imaging and assist with procedures in a busy trauma-centered hospital. You will cross-train with staff and support patient scheduling while upholding patient safety and comfort.

Requirements include ARRT registration, Ohio license, and BLS; CT credential within one year is preferred. Night shifts, 60 hours biweekly, with sign-on bonus for external applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or must obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS certification or obtains within probation period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in diverse settings.
• Assists with CT guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Coordinates patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients about procedures and equipment to maintain understanding.
• Exhibits on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT team.
