Wellstar Health System in Georgia seeks a CT Technologist to join Cobb Hospital's radiology team on a full-time, night shift. You will perform CT procedures, ensure diagnostic image quality, and maintain ALARA principles while safeguarding patient comfort.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications.
• BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and adjust techniques to maintain diagnostic quality with ALARA.
• Disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, screen for contraindications, verify orders and patient IDs.
• Explain procedures and prep to patients using AIDET; address questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Perform exams and administer contrast using venipuncture and sterile technique.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and finalize in RIS/PACS.
