Job summary

AdventHealth in Lake Wales, Florida seeks a CT/XR Technologist for a StaffFlex contract (13 weeks) with night shifts. The role requires XR and CT imaging experience and ARRT certifications. The position offers full-time hours, a night shift schedule, and a competitive hourly rate.

The candidate will perform radiology exams, operate equipment safely, and ensure patient safety and privacy. Associate’s degree in radiologic technology is required, with BLS and ARRT credentials mandatory for

Qualifications

• XR and CT imaging experience required.
• Associate's degree in radiologic technology or JCERT accreditation.
• BLS CPR certification and RT(R)/RT(CT) ARRt credentials required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiology exams using established protocols and ensures patient identification and education.
• Operates imaging equipment safely and effectively, adapting protocols for patients of all ages.
• Screens patients for pregnancy risk and radiation exposure; maintains infection control practices and PPE usage.
• Positions patients and equipment, selects technical factors, and produces images meeting Radiologist standards.
• Maintains organized and stocked exam room; handles basic clerical tasks.
• Provides patient care within technologist scope and documents patient history.
