Job summary

ChristianaCare's Newark campus Imaging Department is recruiting for a Full-Time Flex CT Technologist. The role requires CT imaging proficiency, ARRT CT registry, and Delaware licensure. Night shifts with weekend/holiday coverage and a $7,500 sign-on bonus are part of the package.

Responsible for performing CT scans, clerical duties, and participating in teaching moments for students. Compensation includes health benefits, 403(b) with match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT registry required.
• Delaware license on Radiation Protection preferred; Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• CT Registry exam required; 2-year window for non-certified hires to pass.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates complete knowledge of CT scanner units.
• Completes all imaging procedures within scheduled times.
• Verifies insurance pre-authorization before scanning.
• Assists in education of students and new staff.
• Administers contrast media under physician supervision.
• Assess patient for adverse reactions and status changes.
• Demonstrates proficiency with contrast media injectors and i-STAT testing.
• Provides care for neonatal to geriatric patients.
