Job summary

ChristianaCare's Newark imaging team is seeking a Full-Time Flex CT Technologist to perform CT scans and related duties in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Candidates must have ARRT CT registry, Delaware state license, and an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology; CT registry exam must be completed within hire period; night shifts, weekends and holidays required; excellent safety standards expected.

Qualifications

• Completion of ARRT CT Registry is required.
• CT Registry exam must be completed within 2 years of hire.
• Delaware state license in Radiation Protection is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all phases of CT Scan testing for in-patients and outpatients per department protocols.
• Operate CT scanner units with proficiency and adhere to safety standards.
• Perform other diagnostic imaging exams as skills permit.
• Assist in clerical and scheduling duties as needed.
• Administer contrast media under physician supervision and monitor patient status.
• Collaborate with students and new staff in procedures and safety practices.
• Demonstrate ability to assess adverse patient reactions and manage care.
