Job summary

ChristianaCare in Newark, DE is seeking a Full-Time Flex CT Technologist for the Imaging Department. The role performs all phases of CT testing on inpatients and outpatients under the Radiologist's direction, with weekend and holiday requirements.

Requirements include ARRT CT registry, Delaware Radiation Protection license, and an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology. CT registry exam must be completed within 2 years if not yet certified.

• Completion of ARRT CT registry.
• ARRT CT registry required.
• Delaware Radiation Protection license.
• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• CT Registry exam must be completed within 2 years if not certified.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and proficiency in CT Scanner Units.
• Completes technical imaging procedures on schedule.
• Verifies insurance pre-authorization per protocol.
• Assists students and new staff; supports safety training.
• Adminsisters contrast media under physician supervision.
• Assesses patient status and adverse reactions.
• Operates contrast injectors and performs i-STAT testing.
• Provides care for neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Follows safety rules and departmental practices.
