Job summary

Saint Clare's Health in New Jersey is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations in a busy hospital setting. This full-time night-shift role offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates and a competitive compensation package.

You will prepare and position patients, ensure ALARA safety, acquire high-quality images, review orders, and document procedures in the EMR while collaborating with Radiologists and nurses to support timely diagnosis and patient care.

Qualifications

• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment is required.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
• Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.
• Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• CT ARRT Certification is required.
• Must maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations using established imaging protocols.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients for CT procedures.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following ALARA radiation safety principles.
• Verify patient identity, review physician orders, and obtain relevant clinical history.
• Process and transmit images through PACS and document procedures in the EMR.
• Collaborate with Radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support timely diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain CT equipment and a safe, compliant imaging environment.
• Adhere to HIPAA, infection prevention, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
