Live Well Homecare in Scranton, PA seeks a CT technologist to perform diagnostic, therapeutic, and research CT procedures in a clinical setting, ensuring patient safety and ALARA compliance.

You will prepare patients, obtain orders, administer medications as prescribed, assess image quality, and support interventional CT tasks under licensed practitioners. Certification in ARRT or NMTCB is required.

Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB certification required upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification prior to starting.
• Completion of Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• Ability to perform and assist with advanced imaging procedures, with a focus on safety and quality.

• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and ensure patient safety.

• Educate and monitor students and healthcare team members.

Position Summary:

Responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) procedures, including diagnostic, therapeutic, and research imaging, as well as assisting with interventional procedures. Ensures accurate patient identification, proper preparation, and adherence to safety protocols, including ALARA principles. Prepares and administers medications and manages radiation exposure in compliance with laws and policies. Evaluates image quality, verifies data transfer, and educates patients and healthcare providers. Supports licensed practitioners in interventional CT tasks.
