Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join the Neurological Institute in Cleveland, OH. The role centers on CT imaging across the new facility and Main Campus, maintaining high-quality standards and patient safety.

Minimum qualifications include ARRT registration, CT certification within one year, and BLS. Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy is essential; a one-year imaging experience is preferred. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

• Registered Technologist credentialed by ARRT RT(R) in good standing.
• Obtain CT certification within one year of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes.

Responsibilities

• Acquire patients chart data/requisition and review both to determine correct room set-up and learn of any specific medical problems and contraindications to the study.
• Verify the study ordered correlates to the diagnostic needs.
• Educate patients regarding procedure, equipment and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain all aspects of the CT area, including the technical and clerical components, to ensure proper quality assurance results and any required documentation.

Caregiver schedule:

6:30a-3p, 7a-330p, 730a-4p, 8a-430p and 830a-5p. No weekends

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or graduate of an accredited institution per the primary pathway of the ARRT
• Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT) in good standing
• Obtain certification in Computed Tomography (CT) Certification [R.T.(R) (CT) (ARRT) within one year of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross certification
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist or experience in other imaging modalities

Physical Requirements:

• Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily.
• Requires frequent pushing and pulling of equipment up to 75 pounds.

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $29.00

Maximum hourly: $44.50
