Job summary

Corewell Health Taylor Hospital is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging professional to perform radiographic procedures under supervision. Responsibilities include coordinating fluoroscopic and staged imaging, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining supplies.

The role requires a High School Diploma, 1 year of relevant imaging experience, and completion of the first year of an accredited imaging program; CRT-BLS is preferred or required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma; 1 year of relevant imaging experience; must have completed the first year of an accredited imaging program.
  • Preferred CRT-BLS - AHA (American Heart Association) or CRT-BLS - ARC (American Red Cross) Upon Hire required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer.
  • Coordinate and perform routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable X-rays, trauma and surgery procedures.
  • Ensure patient safety and maintain equipment/supplies at start and end of procedures.

Corewell Health Taylor Hospital is a 148-bed hospital that is a recognized health care leader in the metro Detroit area. Proudly serving Taylor and surrounding communities since 1977, it offers specialty services including 24-hour emergency care, wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, a surgical pavilion, a pain management clinic, orthopedic surgery, inpatient rehabilitation facility and full-service radiology, including advanced CT w/cardiac scoring, Fixed MRI including pacemaker, cinema vision and ultrasound (MSK & elastography).

Scope of Work

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures. Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer, performs diagnostic imaging procedures. Assume responsibility and maintains the general care and safety of patients during imaging procedures. Assures equipment/supplies are present and accounted for at beginning and end of each imaging procedure. Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer, coordinates and performs routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable x-rays, trauma and surgery procedures according to established standards and practices.

Qualifications Required

High School Diploma 1 year of relevant experience must have completed the first year of an accredited imaging program Preferred CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
