Job summary

Duke Raleigh Hospital is seeking an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to serve inpatient populations with strong emphasis in the Emergency Department and a mix of outpatients. The role includes operating CT scanners, assisting radiologists, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications include CT certification within 18 months, ARRT CT registration, two years' CT experience, and BLS.

Qualifications

• CT certification must be obtained within 18 months of employment.
• Minimum of two years' experience as a CT Technologist.
• ARRT CT registration required within 18 months of employment.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and related equipment per safety procedures.
• Position patients and ensure accuracy of exams per protocol.
• Assist radiologists with procedures and interventional CT as applicable.
• Schedule procedures and manage charges in the EHR.
• Provide education and training to student technologists and new staff.
• Maintain patient records and support patient flow in ED and inpatient settings.
