Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification required; ARRT-CT certification required.
• BLS certification required; ARRT-CT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain diagnostic image quality with ALARA principles.
• Maintain and disinfect rooms and equipment per infection control schedules.
• Verify orders, obtain clinical history, and identify patients prior to exams.
• Explain procedures and prep to patients, addressing questions to reduce anxiety.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Experience minimum 1 year experience in Radiology

ARRT-R (Radiography)

ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography

BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association
