Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures and deliver high-quality imaging while ensuring patient comfort and safety. You will work as part of a collaborative radiology team at Douglas Hospital, providing expert imaging services and a supportive patient experience.

The role emphasizes adherence to ALARA principles, patient care, and precise documentation to ensure studies are correctly finalized in RIS/PACS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification required.
• ARRT-CT certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain diagnostic quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
• Clean, disinfect and maintain rooms and equipment per infection control schedules.
