Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia, is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care. You will perform CT exams, adjust techniques to balance diagnostic quality with patient safety, and work within RIS/PACS workflows to finalize studies accurately.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent plus an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography).
• Certifications: ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography).
• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and optimize technique to minimize dose (ALARA).
• Clean and disinfect rooms and equipment; report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and identify patients prior to exams.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and reduce patient anxiety.
• Position patients, apply markers and shielding as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
